Book Signing at Vero Beach Book Center

The Vero Beach Book Center is hosting a very special book signing event at their Indian River Boulevard location on Saturday, March 4. People all across Indian River County are falling in love with this year’s hottest new coffee table book commemorating the Mental Health Association’s “TurtleTrax: Overcoming Hurdles With Turtles.” The Book Center promises a good time on March 4th at 1 p.m. when Highway James Gibson, one of the 52 turtle artists, along with other turtle artists and Cindy Cox, the limerick author of the turtle book, all join together for interesting commentary, book sales, and signings.  Cosmic, the “Roving Raffler” will also be present and tickets to purchase a chance to win Cosmic will be sold. All sales benefit the Mental Health Association in Indian River County, Inc. (a United Way agency).

Designed by the award-winning marketing and communications firm, DHI, with vibrant color images by local photographer Jon Pine, the TurtleTrax commemorative book (available for $34.95) captures the magnificent sea turtle sculptures that are on public exhibition throughout Indian River County now through March 2006. Each sea turtle is crafted from fiberglass and then painted, sculpted or otherwise decorated by artists of local, regional and national acclaim. The commemorative book features engaging copy that lovingly expresses the vision and creativity of each participating artist.
